We left our camp ground at Torrox Costa and headed slightly uphill and inland to a small white village called Frigiliana, which had been recommended by a fellow camper (Dennis, with 2 "n's"). It was a pretty little town, with lovely views down towards the coast, though it was a little hazy partly due to agricultural burn-off and partly by the cooler nights of autumn. We had a wee wander around looking at the houses, streets and views before indulging in a cup of coffee and a piece of chimney bread (almost a batter, wrapped around in a chimney shape and covered with either cinnamon and sugar, almonds, or coconut (or in our case a section of each) which we had bought from a Hungarian man who was offering tastings at the local street market.
After we had finished our coffee we went to retrieve the truck and headed east along the coast to Nerja or more correctly the caves that are there. At first on entering I was a bit ho humm, especially after seeing the really cool caves a few weeks earlier up near Denia, however after a little while the narrowish tunnel opened out into a huge cathedral which was awesome.

We went back to our same campsite, this time we stayed in the truck rather than a bungalow, the price was still far too high, and it still smelt of gas, but Hilary enjoyed being reunited with her cat friends.
